Child Friendly Places in Manchester

So I thought I would share some children friendly places to take the kids over the holidays or time off, that keeps them entertained whilst also having somewhere for parents to have a breather and a coffee (and maybe some cake!)

First up is MOSI, one you have probably heard of! Standing for The Museum of Science & Industry this little beauty is just off Deansgate in the Manchester City Centre. Its free entry and the kids absolutely love messing around with all the different areas! Sometimes they have other exhibits that you can pay for if you so wish, but the free part is great for the kids to run off some steam. Parents will be interested too and there is a cafe so you can get a coffee or cake to refuel!

The Chillfactore is also a firm favourite in my household. Situated next to the Trafford Centre, this place is great for a family day out! A little bit towards the pricy range, still fun for all the family. They have the PlayFactore where the kids can play and do all kinds of activities and also play in the soft play area. Plenty of cafes for mums and dads to eat, even a wetherspoons! You can also sit and watch the skiers if its not your cup of tea, get yourself a hot chocolate and snuggle up watching people fall over (I mean ski obviously).

The Trafford Centre is an obvious one really, it would be scandalous not to give it a mention. Not only is it a beautiful building with great architecture. Its full of hundreds of shops to keep mums and dads and the kids entertained! They also have LegoLand, Bowling, Aerial Adventure and so many other awesome things for kids to do. If its food your into, there are plenty of restaurants ranging from kids food (fussy eaters) to Thai Cuisine. Whatever tickles your fancy, I'm sure you'll find it here!

Kids love to jump about right? I don't know about you but I'm was constantly telling my daughter to stop jumping on the bed or couch! Free jumping is so popular right now, and its great for fitness and also burning off some of that energy! Oxygen Free Jumping Manchester is a great place and kids love it, my daughter wants to go every week! They get an hour of jumping and you get an hour of peace (well kind of) apart from when they come out for a drink or to cool off, all that jumping is sweaty work.

As you can see Manchester has so many amazing places for kids and adults! I could go on for miles with this post but I just named some of my favourites. These places are great for rainy days, so I figured as its winter these places would be best to mention right now.

Where do you like to go as a family? I hope I've given you some fun ideas!

Thanks for reading!
